Dearest Julie,
Baby "Solares" arrived today about 3 hours ago! My husband and I have taken turns holding him and admiring him ever since! He arrived while we were away and as we pulled into our driveway I couldn't get out of the car for the anticipation of his package being there. I sent my husband up the front walk to check the porch and sure enough he came back carrying the box! I had to open him right then and there in the car! Usually I wouldn't take notice of packaging as its not the most important part of the package, but your packaging definitely caught my eye! It was superb! From the careful way he was wrapped to the way his accessories and birth certificate and Care card were sealed and displayed! You definitely don't over look a single detail!
Anyways, Originally purchased as a memorial baby for our son who was born still we were going to rename "Solares" in our son's honor. However, upon holding him and gazing into his face, we've decided "Solares" will be served in greater purpose than just as a memorial...he will become our HOPE baby. Therefore we decided to rename him Kamalei Yuuki which translates into "our beloved child of tender hope". Which we see fitting as our hope has been rather tender since the loss of our little boy.
Kamalei is more beautiful in person, his pictures just do not do him justice! I was pleasantly surprised to see how perfectly his skin colouring matches my husbands, and his dark hair matched mine as a baby! Even more perfect is how much he looks like our angel! Kamalei is amazingly realistic(I half expect to hear him breathe or feel his heart beat or pulse through his little veins!) and cuddly, his poseablility is beyond expected! His clothing is all together too precious and his accessories match so well! He is PERFECT!
I am attaching two pictures to this email, the first of Kamalei in his new outfit purchased in the anticipation of his arrival, and the second of him posed along with our Son's Angel picture (retouched by babyangelpics.com)...are they a match or what?
Thank you for creating such an amazingly beautiful and realistic doll! I cannot say enough about your craftmanship! You were also a true pleasure to do "business" with as well...I definitely recommend you and your work to any collector!

This precious little boy came into the nursery as a RDK #92/300 "Baby Solares" by artist Joany Solares. The mold to start out with is very realistic and putting him through the reborn process enhances that realism even more. With delicate handling and extra special care this little baby has been transformed into a treasured little OOAK "Cream Puff Babies Nursery" baby boy.

It's very difficult to describe each step that goes into creating a "Cream Puff Baby" as in real life each baby’s skin tone is unique and different, several different techniques are used on each baby to achieve the desired skin complexion for that individual baby. The vinyl is colored on outside to give Baby Solares the most realistic complexion. This natural shade of coloring was created with Genesis heat set paints that I’ve applied over multiple steps to achieve the true to life look. Each baby is carefully hand painted until I have achieved the desired results for that individual baby.

He has dark brown eyelashes and his lips were color blended to a natural tone. I also applied barely there brush stroke eyebrows. Additionally, his nose was carefully opened.

Solares has been understuffed with soft polyfil & weighted. He has a doe suede jointed body. He has that realistic baby feel that’s just right for holding.

His head needs supporting just like a real baby's head when you hold him. can be posed and displayed in a variety of positions.

Solares has been given hand painted fingers and toenails that have been sealed with a satin sealer to highlight the details of his hands and feet.

Solares has micro-rooted baby soft dark brown hair. Each little strand was rooted in the direction that his hair would naturally grow. His hair was trimmed and shaped to appear as realistic as a newborn baby's hair does.

Solares is no longer considered a play doll, but a ”One of a Kind" "CPBN" baby /collectible doll to be handed down from generation to generation. I have signed and dated him with his birth date on the back of his neck.
